Making Post Secondary Education Achievable for Working Adults.
At Strayer Education, Inc., our mission is simple: to make high quality post-secondary education achievable and
convenient for working adults in today's economy. Through our main subsidiary, Strayer University, we have
successfully combined academic quality with convenience in the following ways:
Multiple Campus Locations. With 78 campuses in Alabama, Arkansas, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, D.C., and West Virginia, students can attend class at a Strayer University location near their work or home.
Online Classes. Strayer University offers two online formats -- synchronous and asynchronous. The
synchronous online format lets students attend an online class where students and the professor participate together
in real-time. With the asynchronous format, students can attend online classes and independently work through learning
modules and at any time that best fits their schedules. Online students can access these courses from any computer
with an Internet connection.
Onsite Classes. Strayer University will conduct classes onsite at an employer's facility and customize
schedules to accommodate their employees' workday.
Variety of Program Offerings. Strayer University offers a wide variety of undergraduate, graduate and
certificate programs in areas of high demand. These include: Undergraduate and Executive Certificate programs, Diploma
programs, Associate in Arts, Bachelor of Science, Master of Business Administration, and Master of Science programs in
the business, accounting, information technology, education and public administration areas.
Affordable Tuition. In keeping with our mission to make education achievable for working adults,
Strayer University maintains an affordable tuition rate. In addition, several financing options are available to
qualified candidates, including federal financial aid, grants, and loans.
